Marco Born

Marco Born has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Marco started their career at Roche, where they held various roles including HR Manager, Technical Planner, and Plant Manager. Marco then joined JTI as HR Director for Germany and later HR Director for Switzerland. At Amcor, they served as VP Corporate HR Europe and HR Director Europe. Following that, they worked at Synthes GmbH as HR Director for EMEA. Marco then joined Johnson & Johnson as HR Director EMEA DePuy Synthes, where they were responsible for all HR aspects of the commercial organization in EMEA. Currently, they are working as Head HR at Solvias, responsible for all HR activities within the company. Throughout their career, Marco has demonstrated expertise in HR strategy, talent management, and organizational integration.

Marco Born obtained a Diploma in Swiss Course for personal management (SKP) from SGP - Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Personalmanagement in the years 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, they pursued higher education at the University of Basel, where they earned a PhD in Chemistry from 1986 to 1990 and a Diploma in Chemistry from 1980 to 1985.
