Meriem Maalej

Meriem Maalej is a skilled expert in biological analyses, currently serving as an SME at Solvias since June 2021. Prior to this role, Meriem pursued a PhD in bioinformatics at Université Grenoble Alpes, where research focused on the interaction between E. coli lipopolysaccharides and human lectins using NMR spectroscopy. Meriem also gained experience during a Master's degree at Université de Strasbourg, conducting internships that included analyzing membrane protein conformational changes and studying membrane transport using various spectroscopies. Earlier in the academic journey, Meriem undertook a six-month internship in ecotoxicology at UMR 7156 and another internship in molecular biology at Institut Pasteur de Tunis, focusing on optimizing the over-expression of a virulence factor related to Mycobacterium Tuberculosis.
