Sebastian Kiehstaller has had a diverse range of work experiences in the fields of scientific research and molecular biology. Sebastian started their career at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Physiology in 2016, where they received a scholarship for PhD preparation. Sebastian then continued their academic journey at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), where they worked as a Doctoral Candidate from 2016 to 2020 and as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist from 2020 to 2021. In 2022, they joined incircular as a Molecular Biology Scientist, a role they held until 2023. Currently, they are employed at Solvias as a Scientist HPLC, starting in 2023.

Sebastian Kiehstaller began their education at TU Dortmund University in 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in chemische Biologie. Sebastian successfully completed this program in 2014. Afterward, they continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in chemische Biologie, which they completed in 2016.
