Fred Verhoeven

Fred Verhoeven has over 20 years of work experience in the IT field. Fred started their career as a Junior Consultant at Triple P in 1998. From 1998 to 2000, they worked as a Senior Technical Specialist at Symacon IT Dienstverlening BV, where they designed and implemented LAN and WAN networks for organizations of various sizes.

In 2000, Fred joined Centraal Boekhuis as an NT Administrator, responsible for maintaining and managing the existing network infrastructure. Fred also worked on implementing a wireless network based on Access Points and LXE 1590 Terminals.

In 2001, Fred became the Information & Architecture Manager at Achmea Arbo, where they initially started as a 3rd line system administrator. Fred was responsible for maintaining and upgrading the existing network infrastructure, and with the merger with Arbo Management Groep, their role evolved into managing information and architecture. Fred developed technical designs to upgrade the existing Windows NT 4.0 environment.

From 2006 to 2016, Fred worked at ONVZ Zorgverzekeraar as a Senior Windows Administrator. Fred managed the daily operations of the Windows environment and worked on improving the server infrastructure. Fred also implemented Hyper-V, upgraded from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008, and successfully migrated from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010.

Since 2016, Fred has been working as a Customer Engineer Windows at Solvinity. In addition to managing ONVZ's IT infrastructure, they are responsible for other clients' environments based on RDS and RES ONE Workspace.

Overall, Fred Verhoeven has diverse experience in Windows administration, network design, implementation, and upgrade projects, as well as managing information and architecture within the IT field.

Fred Verhoeven obtained their Bachelor's degree in HBO School voor Communicatiesystemen from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they earned a Middenstandsdiploma in Middelbaar Middenstands Onderwijs branche differentiatie Levensmiddelen from Catharijne College between 1989 and 1993. Fred also completed LEAO from Da Vinci Scholengemeenschap from 1985 to 1989.

In addition to their educational degrees, Fred Verhoeven has obtained several certifications from Microsoft. These include MS-100 Microsoft 365 Identity and Services in June 2019, MS: Windows 7, Configuring in December 2015, MCSE: Desktop Infrastructure in July 2015, MCSA: Windows Server 2012 in December 2014, MCSA: Windows Server 2008 in April 2012, MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008 in January 2012, MCTS: Windows 7, Configuration in April 2011, MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuration in July 2009, MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure, Configuration in July 2009, MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuration in July 2009, MCSE1: Windows Server 2003 in November 2005, MCSA1: Windows Server 2003 in August 2005, MCSE1: Windows 2000 in May 2003, MCSE1: Windows NT 4.0 in May 2000, and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional in May 1999.
