Sjoerd van de Kerkhof

Sjoerd van de Kerkhof began their work experience in 2019 as a student at Windesheim. Sjoerd held multiple student roles throughout their time there, from September 2019 to June 2021. In February 2020, they started a position as a Student at Windesheim, which lasted until February 2021. Sjoerd also worked as a Student at Windesheim from September 2020 to February 2021.

In 2021, Sjoerd worked as a Blockchain Developer at Spark! Living Lab from February to July.

In 2022, they started an internship at Avanade as an Intern. During this time, they conducted a research assignment on the migration of an on-premises PLM application to Microsoft Azure. Sjoerd researched how the application could be migrated and how access could be provided to employees worldwide.

Currently, Sjoerd is working at Solvinity as a Junior Azure Cloud Engineer, beginning in September 2022.

Sjoerd van de Kerkhof completed their pre-university education in the field of Nature and Health at Van Der Capellen. From 2018 to 2022, they attended Windesheim and obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Infrastructure Design & Security with a focus on ICT.

In addition to their formal education, Sjoerd also acquired various certifications including the Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft obtained in April 2022, the ICSI | Certified Network Security Specialist (CNSS) from ICSI (International CyberSecurity Institute), UK obtained in January 2021, the HBO-ICT Propedeuse Bachelor from Windesheim obtained in June 2019, and Taalkennis Nederlands 3F-niveau from Hogeschooltaal obtained in June 2019.

Furthermore, Sjoerd obtained certifications such as M001: MongoDB Basics from MongoDB obtained in December 2018, Cambridge C1 Advanced from Cambridge Assessment English obtained in July 2015, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (002) from HashiCorp obtained in October 2022, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft obtained in November 2022.
