Caitlin Walde serves as a Principal Materials Engineer at Solvus Global since January 2019 and has also held the role of Senior Materials Engineer within the same company. Additionally, Caitlin has been the Conference Director for the Cold Spray Action Team since March 2019. Previously, Caitlin was a Research Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from August 2011 to December 2018, focusing on the analysis of feedstock powder for the Cold Spray process. Other experiences include working as a Summer Engineering Intern at Otis Elevator Company in 2014 and 2013, as well as a Research Assistant at Ecole d'ingénieurs et d'architectes de Fribourg in 2014. Caitlin Walde holds a PhD in Material Science and Engineering, a Master of Science in Materials Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, all from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
