Patrick van der Meulen has a diverse work experience. Patrick started their career as the CEO and Founder of Soly, an international Clean Energy Tech company focused on making solar energy accessible to all. In 2015, they worked as a Tijdrijpmaker at OIO tijdrijpmakers BV, where they contributed to decision-making and new opportunities during a time of transition. In 2016, they became the Regional Coordinator BeNeLux at The Climate Reality Project, an NGO founded by Al Gore, where they aimed to combat global climate change by promoting clean energy and sustainability. Patrick also gained experience as an intern at Figlo, a financial advisory software developer, and as a market introducer at Mia Electric Nederland, where they marketed and sold electric vehicles to B2B customers.
Patrick van der Meulen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Bachelor of Commerce - Marketing and Salesmanagement from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen from 2009 to 2013. Patrick also holds a certification in Climate Reality Leadership Corps from The Climate Reality Project, earned in 2015.
