Raúl Insa

Raúl Insa has held a number of positions in the pharmaceutical industry since 1991. Raúl began their career at Pfizer as an R&D Area Manager, then moved to UCB Pharma as Medical Director in 1996. In 1999, they joined Grupo Uriach as R&D Management Director, then moved to ISDIN SA in 2005 as Project & Development Director. Since 2009, they have been Chief Executive Officer at SOM Biotech.

Raúl Insa's education history includes a PhD in Clinical Neurology from Universitat d'Alacant between 1988 and 1990, an MD in Medicine & Surgery from Universitat d'Alacant between 1982 and 1988, an MBA from Esade between 1994 and 1997, a PDG from IESE Business School in 2002, and a Certificate in Leadership & Strategy in Biotech from Harvard Business School between 2006 and 2008.
