MacKenzie Bruce

Mackenzie Bruce is an Intermediate Designer at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) since February 2024. Prior to this role, Mackenzie served as Fabrication Shop Manager at Morphosis from July 2021 to February 2024 and held the position of Graduate Research Assistant at Tsz Yan Ng from August 2019 to July 2021. Additional experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan between August 2020 and January 2021, and working as a Summer Intern at Synecdoche Design Studio from May 2019 to August 2020. Mackenzie also contributed as a Fabrication Lab Assistant at the Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning, University of Michigan, from September 2017 to August 2020, interned at RODE Architects Inc. in July 2018, and worked as an Architectural Intern at LWDA | Levi Wong Design Associates, Inc. from June 2016 to August 2017. Education includes a Master of Science in Digital and Material Technology and a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan, as well as a Bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
