Phil Obayda is a Principal and Senior Associate Principal at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) since April 2013, contributing to significant projects such as the completed Manhattan Loft Gardens and Greenwich Peninsula Upper Riverside, as well as the under-construction Nine Elms Square in London, and a mixed-use development in Zhuhai, China. Active in professional organizations, Phil serves as a member of the RIBA Practice and Policy Board and the RIBA Housing Expert Advisory Group. Additionally, Phil founded and tutors the SOM Design Lab at Loughborough University.
