Wael Abou Alam

Wael Abou Alam is an experienced professional with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. Wael currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at MCDR - Misr for Central Clearing, Depository and Registry. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member at Cascades Hotel Company and held the position of Chairman at Soma Bay Hotel Management Company SBHMC and Soma Bay Facility Management SBFM. Wael also served as a Board Member at Somabay for Real Estate Investment and Marketing SRIM.

Before their current roles, Wael was the CFO at Abu Soma Development Company ASDC and held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Egyptian Resorts Company, a publicly listed company operating in the tourism and hospitality sectors. Wael also served as the CFO at Taleem Management Services S.A.E. and had a long tenure as the Chief Financial Officer at Egyptian Resorts Company. Wael's earlier experience includes working as the Group Financial Controller at Gozour - Subsidiary of Qalaa Holding. With their extensive experience and expertise in finance, Wael Abou Alam has made significant contributions to the companies they have worked for.

Wael Abou Alam completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Cairo University's Faculty of Commerce from 1983 to 1987. Later, Wael pursued an MBA in "Banking & Finance" from the Maastricht School of Management between 2007 and 2009.
