Dale Ren

Dale Ren is a Venture Scout at Soma Capital since May 2023, with prior experience as a Software Engineer at Geneva Trading and Shedd Capital, LLC, where Dale worked on systems, development, operations, and full-stack solutions. Additionally, Dale contributed to business development and web development at the Polsky Center at the University of Chicago and was involved in frontend development at Haylon Technologies. In the academic realm, Dale served as a Researcher at Harvard University, focusing on laser technology. Dale holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Chicago and has further education from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Poolesville High School.
