Merin McDonell

Merin McDonell is a seasoned graphic designer and creative manager with extensive experience in branding and design. Currently serving as the Manager of Brand & Creative at Synopsys Inc since October 2017, Merin leads a small team within the Software Integrity Group, focusing on a variety of marketing materials. As a co-founder and Lead Designer/Art Director at SomaFM since April 2009, Merin has contributed to the development of web and promotional materials for the award-winning internet radio station. Additional freelance work has involved designing for numerous clients including IronPlanet and the League of Women Voters California. Prior experience includes a Senior Graphic Designer position at OQO, where Merin created diverse print materials for the company's products. Merin holds a B.A. from UC Santa Barbara and an M.A. from San Francisco State University.
