Breanna Smith

Breanna Smith is a Scientist at SomaLogic since January 2022 and has been simultaneously working as a Scientist at LightDeck Diagnostics since January 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Scientist at SomaLogic from October 2011 to March 2019, where notable achievements included the successful execution of a next-generation multiplexed proteomic assay, expanding analyte capacity from 1300 to 5000, and collaborating with pharmaceutical partners to develop targeted disease panel assays. Earlier in the career, Breanna worked as a Research Associate at MicroPhage, Inc. from December 2003 to August 2009, contributing to the development of a test for detecting antibiotic-resistant strains of S. aureus. Breanna holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Western Colorado University and pursued further education at Colorado State University from 2009 to 2011.
