Fernando Gurgel

Fernando Gurgel is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive experience in leadership and business development. As the Founder and CEO of Somapay since January 2015, Gurgel has been instrumental in driving the company's vision and growth. In addition, Gurgel has owned Adicional FIDC since March 2005 and co-founded SOMA ENERGIA, which operated from June 2009 to March 2022. Prior to these ventures, Gurgel was a partner at Duraseg Corretora de Seguros from January 2001 to March 2013 and worked as a consultant at Ernst & Young from April 1997 to September 1998. Gurgel holds educational qualifications from the Federal University of Ceara and the Universidade de Fortaleza.
