Jonathan Martin

Jonathan Martin has a diverse work experience spanning several roles at different companies. Jonathan most recently worked at Somatus, where they held the position of Senior Director of IT Infrastructure since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at the same company as the Director of IT Infrastructure from May 2022 to April 2023.

Before joining Somatus, Jonathan worked at QIAGEN, starting in May 2014. At QIAGEN, they held various roles, including Director of Global IT Infrastructure from May 2020 to May 2022, Associate Director and Head of IT Portfolio Management from May 2016 to May 2020, and Technical Operations and Project Manager from September 2014 to May 2016.

Prior to QIAGEN, Jonathan worked as an IT Consultant - Senior Associate at ICF International from October 2012 to August 2014. Jonathan also served as the IT Operations Manager at Chevo Consulting, LLC from October 2006 to October 2012, and as a Help Desk Technician at CACI International Inc from January 2006 to October 2006.

Jonathan Martin has a diverse education history. Jonathan began their academic journey in 2004 at Montgomery College, where they obtained a Certificate in Network Engineering in 2009. From 2006 to 2012, they pursued an Associate's Degree in Network Engineering at the same institution. Following this, they attended the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2013 to 2017, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems and Services. Continuing their education, Jonathan pursued a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, they have obtained several additional certifications, including Agile Service Management from LinkedIn, ITIL V4 Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice, Putting ITIL Into Practice: Applying ITIL 4 Foundation Concepts from LinkedIn, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
