Pamela Kent

Pamela Kent has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in the field of renal care and population health management. Pamela'smost recent position was as the Director of Clinical Operations Population Health OH, IN, and MI at Somatus, where they started in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Centers for Dialysis Care from 2012 to 2022, holding various roles including Director of Special Projects, Director of Population Health Management, Director of ESCO Operations, and Patient Education Coordinator. Pamela'sresponsibilities in these roles included providing leadership and strategic vision for population health strategies, managing application and implementation processes for the Comprehensive ESRD Care Model, and developing and coordinating patient education programs. Pamela also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at North Central State College from 2013 to 2015, teaching an introductory nutrition course. Before that, they served as a Senior Renal Clinical Consultant at Sanofi Genzyme from 2005 to 2012, where they provided clinical support and education on Chronic Kidney Disease management. Pamela also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Bowling Green State University in 2011, a Renal Dietitian at Renal Care Group from 2003 to 2005, a Transplant Nutritionist at Baylor Health Care System from 2002 to 2003, a Clinical Instructor at the University of Texas Southwestern from 2000 to 2002, and a Research Dietitian at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from 1997 to 2000. Overall, Pamela has a diverse range of experience in renal care, population health management, education, and research.

Pamela Kent obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nutrition Sciences from Case Western Reserve University, which they attended from 1982 to 1988. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) from SixSigma.us, which they obtained in December 2020. Pamela is also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, obtained from the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators in December 2014. Furthermore, they hold a Certificate of Training in Chronic Kidney Disease from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, obtained in December 2012.
