Matt Standing is an accomplished professional in the actuarial field, currently serving as the Assistant Risk Pricing Manager at Somerset Bridge Group since October 2018, having progressed through roles as Senior Actuarial Analyst, Associate Actuarial Analyst, and Actuarial Analyst. Previously, Matt gained valuable experience as a Household Pricing Analyst during a placement year at Admiral Group Plc, where expertise in rating structures and data analysis using SAS, VBA, and Excel was developed. Early career experience includes a customer service role at Waitrose, contributing to strong interpersonal skills. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Operational Research, and Statistics from Cardiff University, complemented by a solid educational background at Barton Peveril Sixth Form College and The Mountbatten School.
