Semmy Tissen

Semmy Tissen is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Associate at Somerset Capital Partners since October 2021. Prior to this, Semmy worked as a Strategy & Corporate Development Advisor at Essent, where responsibilities included defining corporate strategy and supporting growth through M&A activities. Semmy's background includes a role as a Corporate Banking Associate with ABN AMRO Bank N.V., participating in a Corporate Talent Graduate Programme with rotations in various departments. Semmy also gained experience as a Graduate Intern at Kempen Capital Management and co-founded Fashionstore SEMZ. Academically, Semmy holds a Master's degree in Finance from Tilburg University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Radboud University. Additional education includes completion of the Atheneum in Economics & Society at Elzendaalcollege Boxmeer.
