Muhammad Akhtar

Muhammad Akhtar, E.I.T., serves as the President of the ASCE North Jersey Branch YMG, with previous roles as President-Elect, Vice President, and Social Media Chair. Current professional experience includes serving as an Assistant Engineer I for Bridges at Somerset County, NJ, and previously working as a Project Engineer at Ferreira Construction Co., Inc., and a Junior Engineer specializing in Bridges and Structures at GPI / Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. Early career experience includes a structural engineering internship at HNTB, a CNC Machinist position at Phillips Precision Medicraft, and a role as a Crew Member/Shift Leader at Dunkin' Brands. Muhammad holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Rowan University and an Associate of Science in Engineering Science from County College of Morris.
