Jackie Piques

Jackie Piques has extensive work experience in communications and public relations. Jackie most recently worked as the Interim Director of Communications and Grants for Somerville Public Schools starting in 2022. Prior to that, they were the Director of Communications for the City of Medford from 2020 to 2022. In this role, Jackie implemented new outreach strategies, modernized communications platforms, and led COVID-19 communications for the city. Before that, they worked for the City of Somerville for over a decade, serving as the Deputy Director of Communications and later as the Public Information Officer. In these roles, they managed media relations, served as the spokesperson for the Mayor, and organized major public events. Jackie also has experience in press release writing, website maintenance, and television production.

Jackie Piques attended Stonehill College from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a B.A. degree in Communications Studies.
