Joan White

Joan White currently serves as the Assistant Finance Director for the Somerville School Department since July 2018 and has been employed with Somerville Public Schools since 1994. In the role of Payroll Manager, Joan White is responsible for assisting the Director of Finance and Director of Operations in managing the financial resources of the school, ensuring staff morale through accurate and timely payroll administration, benefits management, and compensation processes. Additionally, in the position of Accounts Supervisor, Joan White oversees the Finance Office staff and operations while supervising the accounting functions of other school agencies.
