Jean-Michel Orsat is a seasoned expert in connectivity standards and solutions, currently serving as the Connectivity Standards & Alliances Director at SOMFY Group since July 2018. With extensive involvement in various industry organizations, Jean-Michel is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Connectivity Standards Alliance and the Thread Group, and has held significant roles such as Finance Officer and Strategy Committee Chair. Previous experiences include leadership positions at sem-t SAS as a manager and as CTO of io-homecontrol, focusing on protocol design and compliance. With a strong foundation as a Senior Electronic Engineer at Somfy Group and an engineering degree from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, Jean-Michel brings over three decades of expertise in systems, protocols, and connectivity solutions.
