Rod Johnston

Rod Johnston is an Associate Attorney at Sommers Schwartz PC, where involvement in the Complex Litigation Group focuses on direct and class action litigation concerning wage and overtime violations and consumer fraud. Rod earned a Juris Doctor from Cooley Law School and holds both an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University. Prior to legal practice, Rod gained extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry, overseeing development, leasing, and investment activities. Additionally, Rod served as a Student Attorney at the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School Estate Planning Clinic, assisting senior citizens in developing comprehensive estate plans and drafting essential legal documents.
