Galina Mitchem

Galina Mitchem has been working in the software engineering field since 2002. Galina began their career at Macy's, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and Software Engineer for Stores Systems. During their time at Macy's, they were a primary developer and systems support specialist for .NET PDA device applications, menu infrastructure, and wireless printing. Galina also designed, documented, and implemented effective application design solutions for common communication and printing components. In 2020, they began working as a Lead Software Engineer at Somnoware Healthcare Systems.

Galina Mitchem obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems with a field of study in Business Administration from Georgia State University between 1998 and 2001. In 2019, they earned an Advanced Communicator Bronze certification from Toastmasters International in June, as well as an Advanced Leader Bronze certification from Toastmasters International in the same month.
