Khawar Malik is the founder and CEO of Somos, a company that aims to preserve languages, culture, and heritage. Khawar has been in this role since October 2021. Prior to Somos, Khawar worked as the Director at Mezcla Projects starting from October 2020. Khawar also served as the Senior Vice President and M&A Underwriter at Euclid Transactional from October 2018 to November 2020. Before that, they founded and served as the Chief Executive of The Apples & Pears Foundation, a charitable organization that funded educational programs for children and families. Khawar also held senior positions at AIG, ABN AMRO Bank N.V., and Clifford Chance, where they gained experience in underwriting, sales, and law. Additionally, they contributed their expertise by serving as an advisor to the Young Survivor Network and as a board member of the Swan Foundation.
