Manuela Bárcenas

Manuela Bárcenas is an accomplished marketing professional currently serving as the Head of Marketing at Fellow, an AI meeting assistant company, since August 2018. As the first Marketing hire, Manuela was instrumental in developing the company's content strategy, overseeing various channels including the Fellow Blog, Supermanagers Podcast, and social media. Manuela also co-leads the Montreal chapter of Somos Latinx in Tech since May 2025, serves as Master of Ceremonies at the SAAS NORTH Conference and INNOVATEwest, and contributes as an instructor and career coach in marketing programs. Previous positions include Communications and Marketing Specialist at Startup Canada and Social Media Manager at Carleton University, where event organization and mental health initiatives were key responsibilities. Manuela's background includes a degree in Journalism and Communication Studies from Carleton University and expertise in digital content development and community engagement.
