Joaquin Rodriguez Varas

Joaquin Rodriguez Varas currently serves as the Head of Product at MACH since October 2022, leading the business unit for account products, cards, cash management, and customer service for the digital bank. Prior to this role, Joaquin was a Senior Product Owner at MACH, overseeing the product and technology development team for MACH's card product. Joaquin's experience includes a tenure at Banco Bci from February 2017 to October 2022 as Product Manager for Wholesale Banking, where significant contributions included the digitalization of commercial loans and guarantees, making the bank the first in the market to offer fully digital products. Joaquin's career began at Banco BICE from July 2014 to January 2017 as a Commercial Executive in Factoring, achieving recognition as the top executive in this field in both 2015 and 2016. Educational credentials include a Diplomado en Finanzas from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, a Magister en Economía y Políticas Públicas, and a Licenciatura en Ciencias de la administración de Empresas from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, as well as participation in an ESL Program at The University of Texas at Austin.
