Sebastian Garcia Vilches

Sebastian Garcia Vilches is an accomplished Principal Data Scientist at MACH since July 2021, currently focusing on developing an identity validation model with Computer Vision techniques and redesigning the company's commercial strategy for enhanced profitability and user engagement. Previously, as a Data Engineer, Sebastian created the MACH MLOps framework and facilitated the production of over 20 models supporting commercial strategies. Prior experience includes a role as a Data Scientist in the Financial Division at Banco Santander Chile, where automation of key financial reports significantly improved accuracy and efficiency. Sebastian began consulting as a Mathematical Engineer at SHIFT for workforce optimization and served as a Teaching Assistant at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile while earning a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering.
