Ekta Goyal

Ekta Goyal currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Risk for Asia Pacific at Sompo Holdings, a position held since September 2023. Previously, Ekta was Vice President and Chief Risk Officer for Asia Pacific at Allied World from May 2018 to August 2023, contributing to the Asia Pac leadership team. Earlier experience includes roles at AIG as APAC ERM Manager and at Future Generali India Insurance Ltd. as Manager of Enterprise Risk Management. Academic qualifications encompass an MBA in Investment Banking and Wealth Management from S.P. Jain Institute, a program in Cybersecurity from Harvard University, and ongoing risk and AI certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals. Ekta Goyal has also achieved a Fellow membership from the Insurance Institute of India and has pursued various qualifications in risk management and business continuity.
