Alden Penn

Alden Penn, FCAS, has extensive work experience in data and analytics within the insurance industry. Alden currently holds the position of Global Head of Short-Tailed Pricing at Sompo International starting from May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Zurich North America where they served as the Head of Data & Analytics - National Accounts from June 2021 to May 2023 and as the Data & Analytics Lead for US Commercial Insurance from December 2019 to June 2021. Alden also had a long tenure at Chubb, where they held various roles including VP, Predictive Analytics Manager from December 2014 to December 2019, Sr. Capital Modeling Officer from December 2011 to December 2014, and Pricing and Predictive Modeling from June 2008 to December 2011. Alden's career started in 1999, working as a Software Developer in various industries including retail, publishing, and financial services until June 2005.
