Alex Davies

Alex Davies is an accomplished professional in the management liability insurance sector with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Deputy Head of the Management Liability Team and Vice President at Sompo International since July 2019, Alex's role involves underwriting management liability insurance. Prior to this, Alex held the position of Vice President at Marsh, specializing in international wholesale management liability broking. Alex’s career began at Aon, where expertise was developed in financial lines brokerage, advising clients across Europe, Israel, the Middle East, and Africa on complex insurance programs. Early career experience includes roles at Ocaso S.A. and PYV Ltd, further solidifying a strong foundation in underwriting and business development. Alex holds a BA in Spanish, Politics, and Latin American Studies from the University of Southampton and has studied at Universitat Jaume I.
