Denise Sheehan has over three decades of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Denise began their career at Allstate Insurance as a Casualty Unit Claim Manager, where they worked for seven years. Denise then joined Transatlantic Reinsurance as a Senior Underwriter. After four years, they moved on to QBE North America, one of the top 20 insurers and reinsurers worldwide, where they held the role of Vice President - Specialty Products and Reinsurance Leader - Accident & Health. Denise spent over two decades at QBE, contributing to the company's growth and success. Currently, they hold the position of SVP, Head of North America Accident & Health Reinsurance at Sompo International.
Denise Sheehan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from St. John's University in the years 1985 to 1989. Denise then went on to pursue an MBA at Pace University - Lubin School of Business from 2001 to 2003. In addition to their degrees, they also hold certifications in Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) from The Institutes.
