Edward Bridges

Edward Bridges currently serves as the Head of Exposure Management for Global Markets at Sompo, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, Edward held the position of Head of Catastrophe Risk Management for Asia Pacific at AXA XL from October 2016 to May 2024, managing catastrophe modeling and risk monitoring across the region. Edward's earlier experience includes working as a Catastrophe Aggregation Analyst at XL Group, focusing on catastrophe terrorism and risk management, and as a Catastrophe Modeller at Brit Insurance, where responsibilities included pricing for various insurance classes and managing portfolio exposure. Edward holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA, Hons) in English Language and Literature from the University of Nottingham.
