Larry Hinkel

Larry Hinkel has extensive experience in the insurance industry, with their most recent position being VP and Head of Commercial Property & Inland Marine Claims at Sompo International since February 2020. Prior to that, they held various leadership roles at Chubb, including Vice President - Claim Leader for Centralized Commercial Property and Marine & Property Mainstream Claims. Larry also served as Vice President - Marine Claims Leader. Hinkel held the position of Vice President - Programs Claims Lead at ACE North American Claims and Vice President - Inland Marine Claims Lead at ACE Westchester Specialty Group. Before that, they worked at BrightClaim as Director - Centralized Casualty Unit Lead, National Catastrophe Director, and National Sales Director. Hinkel began their insurance career as the General Manager for Illinois|Wisconsin at Crawford & Company.

Larry Hinkel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Kansas State University. Larry has also completed the CEO's Strategic Leadership Institute, specializing in Strategic Leadership Case Studies, at Emory University - Goizueta Business School.
