Laura Simon is an experienced insurance professional currently serving as AVP of Underwriting for Lawyers Professional Liability at Sompo, where the focus is on launching a product for law firms with five or more attorneys. Previously, Laura held various leadership roles at Brown & Brown Insurance, including Chief Marketing Officer for B&B Protector Plans, where significant achievements included a successful content marketing strategy and the revitalization of the Lawyer’s Protector Plan®, generating substantial revenue. Other roles included Executive Vice President and Director of Leadership Development, contributing to organizational strategy and training initiatives. Laura began her career as a Claim Consultant at CNA Insurance Company, specializing in complex litigated claims. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Cleveland State University College of Law, alongside multiple Master's degrees in Marketing and Business Administration from the University of Tampa, and a Bachelor's degree in English from John Carroll University.
