Luca Valli

Luca Valli has extensive work experience in the insurance and consulting industries. Luca began their career as a Consultant at Orbium in 2008 and held this role until 2011. Luca then joined Signal Iduna Re as an Aktuar from November 2011 to October 2014. Luca subsequently worked at Sompo International, starting as a Pricing Actuary from November 2014 to April 2017. Luca then progressed to the position of Vice President, Property Underwriter from May 2017 to March 2023. After that, Luca served as the Vice President, Senior Property Underwriter for five months, from March 2023 to August 2023. Currently, they hold the role of VP, Global Senior Underwriter at Sompo International.

Luca Valli earned a degree in Physics, specifically a Dipl. Phys ETH, from ETH Zürich in the period between 2002 and 2008. Later, between 2012 and 2015, Luca studied at the Swiss Association of Actuaries and obtained the Actuary SAA / Aktuar SAV degree.
