Malte Dittmann

Malte Dittmann currently serves as the Country Manager for Germany and Austria at Sompo International since September 2023. Prior to this role, Malte held the position of Member of the Board at HDI Versicherung AG from January 2022 to September 2023. Malte has extensive experience in the insurance industry, having worked as the Head of Underwriting for Large Clients in the Northern Region at Gothaer Allgemeine Versicherung AG from April 2020 to January 2022 and as the Country Director for Germany at CNA Hardy from January 2013 to April 2020. Earlier roles included Portfolio Manager for Commercial Insurance in Germany and Austria at Chubb Insurance Company of Europe, Commercial Insurance Manager in Duesseldorf, Liability Specialist at ProService Insurance Broker, and Casualty Claims Examiner at AXA. Malte holds a Fellowship from the Chartered Insurance Institute, obtained in 2006, and a degree in Insurance from the Deutsche Versicherungsakademie, completed in 2006.
