Paula Baker

Paula Baker is an accomplished audit professional with extensive experience in audit reporting, operations, and quality assurance across multiple prominent financial institutions. Currently serving as the Head of Audit Reporting and Operations at Sompo since June 2023, Paula oversees executive, management, and board reporting, along with financial and vendor management. Previously, at IDB Bank, Paula held the position of Head of Audit Operations, Professional Practices, and Quality Assurance, where responsibilities included audit methodology, training, and financial management. At CIT, Paula advanced from Director of Audit Strategy & Operations to Vice President of Business Management & Reporting, focusing on executive reporting and business management functions. Earlier career roles include positions at AIG and JPMorgan Chase, where Paula provided executive support and managed critical business operations. Paula holds an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Berkeley College.
