Simon Ying

Simon Ying has a diverse work experience in the reinsurance industry. Simon started their career at Willis Re Inc. in 2007 as an Assistant Vice President, where they worked until November 2014. Simon then joined Endurance Reinsurance Corporation of America as an Assistant Vice President in December 2014 and remained in that role until May 2019. Since May 2019, Simon has been working at Sompo International, where they initially served as a Vice President and is currently the SVP, Senior Actuary as of March 2022.

Simon Ying attended Stuyvesant High School from 1999 to 2003. Simon then pursued a degree in Actuarial Science at NYU Stern School of Business from 2003 to 2007. In 2018, they obtained the Fellow certification in the Casualty Actuarial Society.
