NORITAKA "Taka" Shigeta has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Manager of the Commercial Business Strategy and Underwriting Department at Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. since April 2022. Prior to this role, Taka worked as a Casualty Underwriter at Sompo International from April 2019 to March 2022 and held the position of Section Manager in Engineering Underwriting at Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Insurance Inc. from April 2003 to March 2019, focusing on engineering projects in Japan and the Asia Pacific region. Taka also contributed to the marketing efforts for property and casualty insurance programs for global manufacturers and general contractors. Taka earned a Bachelor's degree in Global Business/Trade from Waseda University between 1999 and 2003.
