Silvia Gadelha

Silvia Gadelha is a seasoned professional in the insurance industry with extensive experience in financial lines and casualty. Currently serving as Superintendente Financial Lines & Casualty at Sompo Seguros since March 2023, Silvia previously held the position of Head of Financial Lines Brazil & Fac Reinsurance Latam at AXA XL from November 2020 to March 2022. Prior to that role, Silvia was the Head of International Financial Lines Brazil at XL Catlin from February 2012 to November 2020 and worked as Especialista Financial Lines at Itaú Seguros from April 2004 to January 2012. Silvia began the career at Aon Risk Solutions as Coordenadora Sinistros Responsabilidade Civil from October 1999 to March 2004. Silvia holds an MBA in Gestão Empresarial from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and has further education from Universidade Paulista.
