Dr. D. Raja, PhD, currently serves as the Professor and Head of the Department of Fashion Technology at Sona College of Technology since October 2008, where additional responsibilities include the role of Associate Professor and Placement Coordinator. Prior to this, Dr. D. Raja worked as a Junior Merchandiser at SRI APPARELS, Avinashi from June 2003 to October 2008, handling order execution, costing, and buyer coordination, alongside being a partner in the company. Dr. D. Raja earned a PhD in Textile Technology from Anna University Chennai between 2009 and 2013 and a Master of Technology (MTech) in Textile from SSM College of Engineering, Komarapalayam, from 2006 to 2008. Education was completed at Bharathi Vidyala Higher Secondary School from 1985 to 1990.
