Vanitha R. Pothuri

Vanitha R. Pothuri, M.D. has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Vanitha started their career in 2006 as the President of Long Term Healthcare, PLLC, where they provided physician and NP staffing services for Long Term Acute Care Hospital facilities. In 2008, they became the Medical Director of Sona Dermatology & MedSpa, focusing on providing exceptional patient-centric care in dermatology and cosmetic services. In 2011, Dr. Pothuri served as the Past President of the Board of Directors for the Indo-American Charity Foundation, where they addressed the needs of the Indo-American community in Houston by providing scholarships, supporting local charities, and offering free medical clinics. In 2016, they took on the role of Member of the Board of Directors for Avance Houston, a nonprofit dedicated to parental involvement and child development. Additionally, they became the Greater Houston Area Developer for Popbar, a year later. Currently, Dr. Pothuri holds the position of CEO at Luhar Group of Companies.

Vanitha R. Pothuri, M.D.'s education history includes completing their M.D. degree in Medicine at KIMS Medical College from 1996 to 2000. Vanitha then pursued an Internal Medicine Residency Program at Columbia University's St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center from 2002 to 2005. Later, they attended Rice University in 2011 to 2012, where they focused on Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
