Andrea Ometto Mrics

Andrea Ometto MRICS has extensive experience in the real estate industry. From 2006 to the present, they have worked at Sonae Sierra, starting as a Development Manager and later moving into roles as an Asset Manager and Asset and Finance Manager in Italy. In these positions, Andrea focused on creating and growing the value of a portfolio of retail properties. They also took on the responsibility of managing and coordinating various activities such as marketing, leasing, production of design packages, project management, budgeting, and negotiations with local authorities. Andrea successfully completed the development of a new shopping center and the refurbishment of an older one, both opening on time and within budget.

Prior to working at Sonae Sierra, Andrea worked at Europa Risorse from 2003 to 2006 as a Design Manager & Supervisor. In this role, they were involved in the development and refurbishment projects of Maciachini Center and Bodio Center. Andrea oversaw the design teams and contractors, ensuring that the projects met cost, time, and quality standards, and fulfilled the requirements of the developer.

Andrea Ometto MRICS has a diverse education history in the fields of real estate, finance, and engineering. They obtained a postgraduate diploma in project management from the University of Reading in 2009, as well as a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) in 2008 from the same university, with a focus on construction and real estate. In 2004, they completed an Executive Program in Finanza Immobiliare e Real Estate (FIRE) from SDA Bocconi, specializing in real estate. Earlier in their education, they earned a degree in Building Engineering from Università degli Studi di Padova in 1999, and a scientific high school degree from Liceo Scientifico in 1991.

Andrea Ometto MRICS also holds several certifications. They are a Chartered Commercial Property Surveyor (MRICS) awarded by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2013. Additionally, they obtained the Order of Engineers of the Province of Milan certification from the Order of Engineers of the province of Milan in 2000.
