Eduardo Piedade is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology and investment. Currently serving as Chief Development Officer at SONAE since September 2025, Eduardo also plays a significant role at Sonaecom as a Non-Executive Director since May 2019. Eduardo has held various investment positions, including Non-Executive Director roles at Codacy, Hackuity, SafeBreach, and Cybersixgill, contributing to advanced platforms that enhance software development and cybersecurity. Additionally, Eduardo has been an investor in Sales Layer and Deepfence Inc, both focused on cutting-edge technology solutions. As Chief Executive Officer of Bright Pixel Capital since January 2016, previously known as Sonae IM, and an Executive Director at Nextail, Eduardo possesses a robust background in strategy and business development, supported by an MBA from London Business School and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, along with a degree from Universidade do Porto.
