Marcos Polonia has extensive experience in the financial and hospitality sectors, currently serving as the Credit & Surety Director at MDS Group since January 2009, alongside a role as Diretor na "DGRE - Direção Geral de Riscos Empresariais." In addition, Marcos has held CEO positions at several companies in the Douro Valley, including Quinta do Rio e Praia Douro Valley, Private Boat Douro Valley, and Quinta das Rosas Douro Valley since 2020 and 2021, as well as at Quinta das Tilias since December 2004. Previous experience includes serving as Delegado Territorial Adjunto and Coordenador Nacional de Vendas at COFACE PORTUGAL from December 2001 to January 2009. Marcos holds a degree in Gestão de Empresas from Universidade Portucalense and has pursued further education in management and leadership at Católica Porto Business School and AESE Business School.
