Miguel Pereira

Miguel Pereira has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Miguel started their career as a Quality Control Manager and Winemaker at Herdade do Meio, where they managed internal laboratories and was responsible for HACCP and Quality Management Systems.

Miguel then worked at Continente | Baga | Sonae MC as a Store Department Manager, District Manager, and Commercial Manager, where they managed categories, budgets, and a team of commercial and stock managers.

Next, they joined Maxi | Bom Preço | Teixeira Duarte Distribution as Business Development Director and Operations Regional Director, responsible for researching new markets, developing business strategies, and managing a group of retail/wholesale stores.

Miguel co-founded Gamma Flow, a B2B online platform simplifying the procurement process, and served as Co-CEO. Miguel designed the business plan, outlined objectives, and revenue models.

Miguel co-founded OMNIO, an innovative tech solution for attendance and employee route control, where they served as an advisor.

Miguel then joined Nuvi Group, where they served as a Commercial & Marketing Director, managing all commercial, supply chain, and marketing aspects of three store chains.

Currently, they are working at SONAE as a Sales & Operations Director, responsible for leading various retail electronic consumer goods store chains. Miguel directly oversees operations directors, area managers, and human resources manager and is responsible for budget preparation and compliance.

In addition, they have held positions as Remote Channels Director at Worten Omnichannel and Digital Transformation Ambassador & Team Leader at Worten.

- From 2001 to 2006, Miguel Pereira earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Food Science and Technology from Instituto Politécnico de Beja.
