Victor Elavoco has extensive experience in the rigging and crane operation industry, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Rigging Supervisor at Sonamet Yard since June 2012, Victor is responsible for conducting site studies, preparing lifting studies and method statements, and selecting appropriate cranes for various lifts, ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Prior to this role, Victor worked as a Crane Operator for SONAMET since June 2003, where responsibilities included checklist preparation, instructing riggers, analyzing loads, and conducting safety meetings. Additionally, Victor held the position of Principal Inspector at Global Maritime in early 2015, overseeing lifting operations, certifying lift plans, and generating reports. Early career experiences include working as a rigger on the Barge Polaris with Acergy and serving as a professor from 1995 to 1999, preparing educational materials. Victor holds a degree in Geography and History from INE.
