Joshua Levy

Joshua Levy has a diverse and extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Joshua is currently working at Sonance as a Lead Hardware Verification Engineer. Prior to that, they founded The Lyceum in 2020. Joshua also served as the Chief Scientist at Josh Levy Labs from 2018.

Joshua has also worked at SurfaceInk @ Facebook as an Audio System Lead Engineer from 2019 to 2023. During their time at Amazon Lab126 from 2015 to 2018, they worked as an Audio Engineer, specializing in audio design and engineering. Joshua'sresponsibilities included working with a cross-functional team and using tools such as Ares, SoundCheck, and Audio Precision.

Earlier in their career, Joshua worked at Aether Things as an Electroacoustic + Hardware Engineer from 2012 to 2015. Joshua collaborated with a team of engineers to develop a new product and had experience working with Asian manufacturers. Joshua also served as the Treasurer at the Audio Engineering Society from 2011 to 2012.

In 2010, Joshua worked at NASA, Inc as an Electrical Engineer Study. Joshua designed a board for atmospheric chamber testing and was involved in PCB design using Altium and writing assembly code.

Joshua Levy attended the University of Florida from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
